For context, she’s a Canadian Senator that has an active Mastodon account, and has interacted with constituents directly through the fediverse. I haven’t done much of a deep dive into her politics, but she’s openly taken questions from the fediverse and brought them to the senate floor, and then shared back the replies from the federal government.
In my opinion, she’s a great example of what a politican can be when they leverage decentralized social media.
