At least 95% of them are shit anyway 😂
I really enjoy Apple Arcade. Quality games for the kids with no ads or micro transactions.
I am the administrator of “What the Fediverse”, which includes:

They should do the same on the Play and App Store.
There’s even games where you can pay to remove ads, but it will still ask you if you wanna watch an ad to get a bonus or some shit. Fuck that.
Pretty sure I’ve seen the mint leaf used before and the color green is used in the logo and theming.
I use Mint, btw. Really.
Yes, video is streamed directly from its home server. There is a an option to mirror videos, so that your server will work as a seed, helping with bandwidth.
Images on Lemmy is also loaded from its home server, but there is a cache.
Netbeaners! Unite!
Remember, federation is *copying*, not creating some kind of remote view. If you’re federating videos, you’re letting other websites consume terabytes of your storage space amd bandwidth.
That is not true, at all.
Did you enable Proton for all titles in your Steam settings?
Does this apply to Windows as well? Haha
For Linux to go mainstream is simple. Have Linux be default on every computer sold in stores.
Something like 99% of people who go to a store and buy a laptop, does so because they need a device to access their online bank or watch funny videos on YouTube. Maybe check their mail and open a PDF or two.
My whole family uses Linux Mint and they are normal people.
No problem. Something is off with the federation on your server though.
What’s the URL?
From what instance is that?
Do you have an example?
If I go to The Linux Experiment via peertube.wtf, I can see many years of videos.
You should go here https://ideas.joinpeertube.org/ or here https://github.com/Chocobozzz/PeerTube to raise concerns.
Sort by “hot”. And also, check this list out for content: https://lemmy.wtf/post/15810205
Also also, you can still follow channels on tilvids.com, from your own instance, by following the channel’s handle.
Cool. What’s your instance?
And yes, it is a catch-22 or a “chicken before the egg” issue, but I’m confident we will see even more content creators on PeerTube in the future.
Check this link out: https://lemmy.wtf/post/15816115 for servers and have a look at https://peertube.wtf/ for some of the content available on PeerTube.
If you are a content creator, you need to take the first step. Viewers will come after you, not before.
As software, PeerTube is great and there’s actually plenty of content to consume if you can find it. The more content creators we can get to use PeerTube, the more appealing PeerTube will also become.

It comes with Apple One. Not sure if it’s a standalone subscription though.
