I’m sorry my corrections to all your many errors are bothering you.

You got a pro managing it?
\sigh
Spaces before a full stop? Really?
Fair question.
That user goes around issuing weird and pointless corrections to other people’s comments, even sometimes to the point of personally insulting people who make grammatical or spelling errors – often common ones that non-native speakers make, so I thought it’d be funny to do the same in turn, since their comment history is filled with much of the same.
I wouldn’t usually do it, it’s a pointless exercise IMO.
Not it doesn’t. Did an Ai slop this story too?

You are wrong. Ran is past tense of run.
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/run-into
run into something
present participle: running | past tense: ran | past participle: run
If you run into problems, you begin to experience them:
example: We ran into bad weather/debt/trouble.
If you’re going to try to correct people, please make sure you’re actually right first.
It’s ran. Because I’m talking about past events.
I’m frequently told that Linux is hard and you need to be a tech guru to use it, yet every week I see 1-2 articles of issues in windows you need to do some bullshit to fix, and in my own use of it I’ve ran into issues (especially after doing an update) that I just don’t run into on Linux or MacOS.
And some people wonder why the cybertruck is barely sold outside the US.
Everything I hear about this thing is bad.
Apple’s iCloud backups aren’t encrypted by default,
Why the fuck not?
Cool change.
On the topic of Flatpak games… I hope Valve takes over the flatpak/Flathub version of Steam. Right now it’s unofficial.
Valve only officially supports the .deb package on the most recent Ubuntu LTS, and their official SteamOS version.
Despite this, Canonical defaults to the unofficial Snaps version - in the past when this caused issues, Valve said that people should use the Flathub version - which they don’t actually support!
Come on, Valve. You know it makes sense. You clearly like Flatpaks if you’re telling people to use them and preinstalling them on the Deck. Make it official!
I know Debain 13 likely won’t come out until August or September, but with Debian 13 hoping to use Gnome 48 (which is either still in alpha or just entering beta) and Plasma 6.3… does anybody else feel like Debian is getting quicker at moving to new DE releases?
“Open source” and “commercial” aren’t opposites, plenty of models we consider commercial are also ‘open source’ - an obvious example being Facebook/Meta’s models…
Looking outside of AI there’s plenty more examples. Chromium is open source, does that mean it and Google’s Blink web rendering engine is non-commercial? I’d say no.
Should also be noted that there’s been some pushback recently on whether models trained on closed sources should be called “open source”, just because the model itself is.
£60 before adding all the DLC 😵💫
In fairness, it’s always been one of those games that goes on sale a lot and is priced low when it does. Patience is a virtue.
If it’s anything like 6, yes, but the Linux version won’t get quick updates so effectively no, since players have to be on the same update.
There’s no reason the Proton version won’t work, though, I suppose.
Here’s hoping the Linux native version fares better this time around…
He’s like Henry Ford, apart from being being good at building cars part.
